Norse, Greek and Egyptian…I have been interested in mythologies and religions. This work elaborates from Medusa in Greek Methodology, who is generally described as a golden winged human female with bronze claws and living venomous snakes in place of hair. Gazers upon her hideous face would turn to stone. We have a phrase to describe someone “has a heart as malicious as snakes and scorpions” in Chinese, so I created the inside of Medusa. Snakes are as blood vessels in place of her heart and stare at audience viciously.
